Mega-Damage Capacity or MDC measures how much MD something can take.

Conversion Book One revised page 45 has HP turn into MDC while SDC is retained.

The main book did not list MDC daily rates as a basic rule. Dragons and golems had specific listings but not all MDC monsters did.

Conversion Book introduced basic rules (pg 22, 56 in revised):

Mega-damage is healed/restored the same way as a human regains hit points from medical treatment and rest.
M.D.C. is normally restored at a rate of 2D6 per day.

Scrap

Sourcebook One revised pg 35 mentions going more than 80 MDC below zero means (for robots at least) half the main body is "blown to bits" and the rest is slag (burned out) which can't be salvaged, only valuable as scrap metal.
