Skills

Skills are broken down into several categories. Players can generally select skills from multiple categories, or choose Skill Programs that provide groups of skills. Please note that the skills available to players tends to expand with the introduction of most new dimension/source/world books. The categorization of skills has also shifted and changed over the years, specifically with the introduction of the Rifts Game Master Guide and subsequently Rifts Ultimate Edition, therefore skills provided to O.C.C.s and R.C.C.s from books that predated these may fall under different categories. A prime example would be that linguistic skills, previously listed within the Technical category, are now included in the Communication category.
